  • Edward Page Croft, CFA, is the CEO & founder of Stockopedia.com - the award-winning stock selection & portfolio analysis platform for individual investors. Ed has a background in asset management, having managed ultra high net wealth private client accounts at Goldman Sachs and a family office. Ed is a committed educator and regular keynote speaker at investment conferences focusing on the benefits of systematic investing in countering common behavioural biases. 

  • Shepherd Neame is Britain’s Oldest Brewer, based in Kent since 1698. It is a family business with strong family involvement and a balance of Neame family members and non-family members on the Board of Directors.



    The Company brews, markets and distributes its own beers to national and export customers under a range of highly successful brand names including Spitfire, Bishops Finger, Whitstable Bay and Bear Island.



    The Company also has partnerships with Boon Rawd Brewery Company for Singha beer, Thailand’s original premium beer.

    Jonathan Neame

    Joined the Company in 1991. Company Secretary until July 1994 and Tied Trade Director until 1999. He was appointed Managing Director in 1999 and then Chief Executive in 2003. He is a barrister-at-law and was a management consultant with the COBA Group from 1987 to 1991. He was Chairman of the British Beer & Pub Association from 2012 to 2015 and a Non-Executive Director of the St Austell Brewery Company Ltd from 2002 until 2018. He is a Director of the Brewers of Europe and was Vice President from 2022 to 2024. He is Deputy Lieutenant of Kent and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Kent in 2016.

    Mark Rider

    Appointed to the Board in February 2012. He joined the Company from J Sainsbury plc, where he held a number of senior finance roles. Prior to joining Sainsbury’s he qualified as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Rugby Players Association. He has been an advisory Board member of the Zero Carbon Forum during this year.

  • Launched in September 2019, Nudea is a B Corp certified Women’s Underwear and Sleepwear brand.  All our products are made from premium recycled or organic fabrics and are designed for great everyday comfort and fit. We sell via our own website but also through third-party retailers like John Lewis.
    Having reached a £1m in revenue and  EBITDA breakeven, we are looking to raise £500K to scale our profitable online business.

    Kevin Taylor, Professional Investor

    Kevin is an experienced small-cap investor having invested his own and family money for over 30 years.  He began his City career in 1993, training as an actuary with a focus on defined benefit pension schemes.  In 1997 he moved over to Investment Banking, joining a structured finance team that created bespoke financial solutions, and provided debt finance, for large corporates.  

    After leaving banking in Feb 2021 Kevin worked for two years as CFO of a small software business that he helped to rescue from administration.  He is now a full-time professional Investor.  Kevin is one of the more sceptical panel members and likes to see proof that demonstrates management’s claims before investing in a management team.  He invests on a long-term basis but also trades short-term trends on both the long and short side of markets.

    Kevin will be discussing Revolution Beauty (REVB).
