Annabel leads the AIC’s communication and promotion strategy, sharing the uses and benefits of investment companies with the media, opinion formers, advisers and private investors. She also encourages member companies to communicate to investors in a clear and engaging way.  Annabel is currently an ambassador for Women on Boards and The Diversity Project.

Anthony Lynch

Anthony Lynch, Executive Director, is a portfolio manager within the J.P. Morgan Asset Management International Equity Group, specialising in UK equities, with a particular focus on mid and small caps. Anthony joined in 2009 as an analyst having obtained a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Durham University. Anthony is a CFA charterholder.

George Barrow, Fund Manager

George joined Polar Capital in September 2010 as an analyst on the Financials Team. He is a co-manager on the Polar Capital Financial Opportunities Fund, with John Yakas, and the Polar Capital Global Financials Trust, with John and Nick Brind. He has over 10 years’ experience analysing Europe, Asia and emerging markets. Prior to joining Polar Capital, he was an analyst at HIM Capital from 2008 where he completed his IMC.

Emma Bird, Head of Investment Trust Research, Winterflood Securities

Emma joined the Investment Trust Research team at Winterflood Securities in September 2015, after working for the Wealth Management Association for a year, and became Head of the team in August 2022. She graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2014 with an Economics degree and is a CFA® Charterholder. Emma leads the team’s research on the Property sub-sector and also covers a range of equity investment trusts.
